As a young person, you didn't get to pick your parents. You didn't get to pick your siblings. You didn't get to pick your neighbors. Heck, you really didn't even get to pick your friends...all you had to choose from was whoever happened to live in the same area your parents chose to live in.
You didn't get to pick your gender, hair color, eye color, nose shape, athletic ability, or natural strengths. You didn't get to pick how your brain was naturally wired from birth. You didn't get to pick the rules and expectations in your community that would eventually form your belief structure.
You didn't even get to pick your birth name!
Who you are as a person and where you are in life is a direct byproduct of the community you were raised in...and you didn't get any say in it.
So when I say that your life is not your fault, IT'S NOT! Maybe you weren't dealt ideal cards, and that's completely okay! But your future rides on how you choose to play them.
The good news for you is that I have discovered the secrets you need to start buying back your precious time and finally take control of your own life. Why can I say that?
Because I've personally experienced the incredible, life-changing transformation in my own life, and many others I've coached along the way.
That said, I want to share a story with you...Don't worry, it's not another "how I made millions overnight" type of story.
I came from a broken home where my dad left when I was 12. I struggled in school with ADD, OCD and dyslexia, and was an easy target for bullies as a fat, red-headed, buck-tooth kid.
When I was 27, I received a heartbreaking call that my 29-year-old brother...a fighter pilot instructor...had been killed in a plane crash. "He's gone! He's gone! Steven's gone!" his newly widowed bride kept screaming into the phone. Just like that, my role model...my hero...was stripped from my life forever.
Hardly a couple weeks later, on the way home from burying my brother, I lost my left eye in a fluke bungee cord accident strapping down his belongings, just weeks before I would be married.
To deal with the pain, I turned to food and alcohol, and quickly found myself more than 100 pounds overweight. My marriage suffered, my business suffered, and I new if I didn't fix something IMMEDIATELY, I wouldn't be around to watch my kids grow up.
That's when I started developing tools that would change my life forever...
